As CEO and Managing Partner for RBK Pediatrics & Urgent Care, Dr. Rogu revitalized a 58-year-old practice, transforming it into the most technologically advanced private pediatric practice on Long Island into a modern pediatric supergroup in Long Island.
His initiatives included the introduction of a Pediatric Chronic Care Program, which incorporated a Pediatric Obesity Program, Asthma Care, an ADHD Evaluation and Management Program, and an International Adoption Program, collectively serving approximately 70,000 patient visits annually.
Dr. Rogu's expertise extends to practice management, where he has led numerous technology-driven projects to deliver more efficient and cost-effective healthcare.
Dr. Rogu has showcased his leadership skills by steering RBKPediatrics through two changes to electronic medical records. In 2008, he initiated and supervised the transition to a pediatric-specific Electronic Health Record (EHR) that was cost-effective, user-friendly, and tailored to the practice's unique needs.
Dr. Rogu frequently consults with med-tech innovators to solve complex problems in the medical industry.
He also led the Meaningful Use program as Lead Physician—a skilled negotiator with managed care organizations and medical practices. Dr. Rogu has also successfully navigated the acquisition and merger with other practices around Long Island.
He has managed administrative aspects, including insurance contract negotiations, staffing, and merging office cultures. He also oversees physicians and cases for Pediatric Inpatients at three local hospitals as part of the Pediatric Inpatient Hospital Program. Including Good Samaritan Children's Hospital.
Dr. Rogu is the Founder and President of a Pediatric, Specific, Clinically Integrated Network called "The Independent Pediatric Collaborative of Long Island". Dr. Bravo's educational journey began in the picturesque land of Costa Rica at Hospital Nacional De Ninos, where he completed his medical school. His pediatric internship was undertaken in Kalamazoo, MI, at MSU-KCMS Bronson Children's Hospital, followed by a Residency in Chicago at Rush University Children's Hospital.
Driven by his commitment to community healthcare, he established a rural practice in Russell County, Virginia (Appalachia), to facilitate deliveries at the community hospital.
Dr. Bravo further honed his expertise by practicing hospital medicine and Emergency Medicine in Richmond ( Henricos Hospital) and Manassas, VA. He spearheaded the design and implementation of the first pediatric emergency department in a community hospital in Northern Virginia.
This was followed by establishing the first pediatric urgent care service in Northern Virginia - Pediatrics@Nite.

Dr. Sabrina Braham, our innovation series guest host, is a mother, community pediatrician, and innovator focused on leveraging technology to create better, more accessible care for children and families. Dr. Braham completed her Pediatrics residency at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. After 12 years in a thriving community practice in Silicon Valley, Dr. Braham returned to Stanford to focus on innovation for child health equity, completing the 2021-22 Biodesign Faculty Fellowship and the 2022-2023 Design, Innovation, and Clinical Entrepreneurship Fellowship, which led to the founding of Wellio.Health as a way to bridge the gap between trusted pediatricians and their digital native patients. Dr. Braham serves on the Pediatric Digital Health Task Force in her faculty role while providing clinical care and teaching trainees at a federally qualified health center, the Gardner Packard Children’s Health Clinic.
